What is Revalue IQD?

The term "revalue IQD" refers to the process of adjusting the value of the Iraqi Dinar in relation to other currencies. This can occur through official government policy changes, market pressures, or economic reforms. A revaluation typically aims to stabilize the currency, control inflation, and enhance the purchasing power of citizens.

Historical Context of IQD

The Iraqi Dinar has experienced significant fluctuations since the early 2000s, largely due to the impacts of war, economic sanctions, and political instability. Historically, the Dinar was valued much higher than its current standing, and efforts to restore its value have been ongoing.
