If a casino is found to be negligent, it may be held liable for any losses that a player suffers as a result of a slot machine malfunction. This can include the player's lost winnings, as well as any other damages that the player suffers, such as emotional distress.

The player is entitled to receive their winnings, and the casino is obligated to pay them out.

• Failure to provide a fair game

Casinos have a duty to provide players with a fair game. This includes ensuring that slot machines are operating properly and that players are not being cheated. If a slot machine malfunctions and causes a player to lose money, the casino may be in breach of its duty to provide a fair game.

• Failure to disclose material information

Casinos are required to disclose material information to players about slot machines. The amount of damages that a player can recover in a slot machine malfunction lawsuit will vary depending on the specific circumstances of the case. However, it is important to note that players are not always entitled to recover damages.
